We need permission to use the take-off and landing site, plus access to any controlled areas required for the work. You may also need to tell site management, tenants, staff, contractors or an event organiser. We will identify the practical information and cooperation needed during planning.

Flights near an event crowd require a specific legal assessment. The aircraft, operating category, people involved and available controls determine the options. Useful establishing views may still be possible from a safe position or at a time when the site is less busy.
The normal legal maximum is 120 metres, or 400 feet, above the surface, subject to the applicable rules and airspace. Most effective commercial shots are taken well below that height. We choose the height needed to show the subject clearly while maintaining safe control.
